X Pulse ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

1. Data Collection

X Pulse collects only the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

            What We Store:
            Wallet Address: Used as your anonymous account identifier (User ID)
Transaction Hash (TXID): Stored to verify payments and prevent duplicate claims
                
Password Hash: Encrypted (hashed) version of your password - we cannot see your
                    actual password
Credit Balance: Your current credit amount
Referral Code: Your unique referral code for the referral program

        

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do NOT collect:

Your X/Twitter login credentials or account information
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
Browsing history or activity outside the extension
The content of tweets you read or interact with (except temporarily for AI processing)
Your IP address or device identifiers

3. Purpose of Data Usage

The data we collect is used solely for:

Account Authentication: Verifying your identity when you log in
Credit Balance Management: Tracking your credit balance for AI services
Payment Verification: Confirming transactions on the Base blockchain
Referral Program: Processing referral bonuses when users sign up with your code

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

AI Reply Generation (OpenAI)

When you request an AI-generated reply suggestion, the tweet content is sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o mini model) for processing. This data is:

Anonymized - no user identification is attached
Not stored by us after processing
Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy

Payment Verification: Transaction verification is performed on-chain via Alchemy RPC. Only your transaction hash is used - no personal data is shared.

5. Data Sale Policy

We Do NOT Sell Your Data

Your data is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure with:

Encryption at rest and in transit
Row-level security policies
Secure API authentication

Passwords are hashed client-side using SHA-256 before being transmitted - we never see or store your plain-text password.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request information about the data we hold about you
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you stop using the extension, your data remains stored but inactive. You may request deletion at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

X Pulse is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
